If you want my honest opinion, the only way to describe Traverse Town is picturesque. Brick streets, neatly arranged in mosaic form, pretty much formed the basis of the quaintness of the town. Stars twinkled in a perfectly black sky. Top that off with elegant lamp posts and sloped roofs and a perfect painting has been laid out before any stupid on-looker that bothered to stop and stare.

In case you hadn't already guessed, Larxene couldn't care less about the little town that had the guide "How the be the Prettiest Little Shithole in the Universe" by some random moron in every room of every home. She was here for a purpose. What purpose had deemed her being there, she really couldn't say. The whole matter was hush hush, go the fuck away neophytes, we let Saix stay here because he's better at kissing up than any of you and don't complain when we use you as shields against our enemies. All she knew is that she had to take this crazy meter, stick it into random places of the world, and get a general reading of whatever the little meter did.

And what annoyed her even more was the fact that the only reason she was qualified for the job was the reason that she could travel faster than any of them could. What a qualifying trait.

It wasn't like she went unnoticed. The streets were empty and no one wore the thick black cloaks. It was only natural that the small creature in black receive strange stares. And it wasn't like this was an UBER-STEALTH mission. Otherwise she would be in civilian clothes.

Larxene paused by one of the tiny trees. Maybe she should have brought civilian clothing. Xemnas did mention in his note that she might have to out-run any enemies ("the last thing we need is murder on our hands" or something).

What did he mean by that?

Larxene sighed and jabbed the meter between the grate. She pushed the button that she was supposed to and waited for the little meter to beep, proving that she had done what she had to do. Now was not the time to question Xemnas. She could do that all she liked once she was safe in Never Was.
