Axel's green eyes blazed with curiosity as Sora went into some sort of trance. "Maybe he can see Roxas." he whispered half-heartedly feeling the need to slam his head into the ocean floor with anger, "It's all my fault." he growled through gritted teeth causing Flounder to swim quickly behind his friend Ariel.

Sora's sudden word's startled the nobody. Sora didn't know where he was either. The way the younger boy described the mysterious place- was it hell or the next life? The redhead just watched the younger quietly, the last glimmer of hope fading from his eyes.

With a soft sigh, Axel turned abruptly away from Sora, Ariel and Flounder, and swam to the other side of a large rock. He put his head in his hands as he felt some tears fall down his cheeks with in return floated away swiftly in the ocean.

Roxas is dead.The words haunted Axel to pure insanity. This was his Roxas, the nobody that solely kept him alive, and what was he supposed to do without him? Life seemed hopeless.

A few minutes later, Flounder managed to gain enough courage to swim over to the red head. "Roxas said to find a loophole.. in a ... portal or something." Flounder mumbled to himself as if trying to not forget these words. The little fish arrived to Axel, and tapped the nobody of the shoulder with his fin.

"Roxas..." Flounder whispered softly, looking int o Axel's emerald green eyes, "He said to find a loophole in a portal... why don't we try?" The redhead narrowed his eyes in concentration. "I've never have before." he answered softly starting at the ocean floor,

"But I can try."

Wiping his eyes, the nobody swam back to Sora and Ariel with Flounder in close pursuit behind him. "Sora...help me." he said with a strained voice, casting a portal a few feet away from the group. "We're going to get him."

"Hopefully we'll be back you two." Axel added to the two sea creatures before grabbing onto Sora's arm and pulling him to the portal, and yanked him inside. "It won't be bad.." Axel added as he closed the portal, and closed his eyes trying to concentrate- He wasn't sure about how to find this "loophole". "Just..think about him!" Axel yelled in hysteria trying to picture Roxas in his mind; all the missions, and all the things that they had done together.

"HARDER!" The nobody yelled in frustration due to their unsuccess. Roxas needed to be alive, he deserved it.

All Axel heard was a loud bang, and felt his body fall into some sand. They were somewhere, but was it where Roxas was? "Sora? You there?" Axel added with nervousness, and he slowly opened his eyes...

Sora hadn't heard Roxas's words, and it could have been a blessing or a haunting message. It would have let Sora known that Roxas was definitely living, that Sora wasn't just tapping into a spirit of a past soul. Still, the sheer fact that Roxas was in that place expressing his soft words of hopelessness, it would just be a message of how hopeless things were and how horrible it was that Sora knew nothing of what to do.

So as Sora slowly regained his strength, breathing in shallow intakes, he watched Axel with pained eyes. He didn't know what to do. He had always found a way to his problems somehow, but now it seemed useless. "Why?" He whispered to himself more to the others, clutching the wet sand of the seafloor and squishing it to were to oozed from his hands, wanting to punch something to ease his frustration.

He looked up just as Axel declared that he was going to try and find a loophole. Sora suddenly grinned, despite his lack of hope, and nodded. "I said I would help you get Roxas back, and I keep my promises." Though how it would be kept was a different question. Sora also didn't see the portal of darkness nearby.

When Axel told Ariel and Flounder that they'll be back, Sora just tilted his head in confusion. "Wait... Where are we go- Whoa!" Sora cried as Axel yanked him inside the portal. "Hey! Ah, let go!" Sora yelled in a panic, flicking his head behind him to the portal which was quickly closed.

Sora flashed a dangerous look over to Axel, "Yeah, easy for you to say!" Sora yelled, definitely not appreciating how he was tugged and pretty much forced to use darkness as a benefit, and he was especially vulnerable to the darkness with the stress and near hopelessness raging inside of him.

He let himself take a breath, trying to block out the uncomfortable feelings and sounds of the darkness all around. Also noticing that his tail morphed back into two legs and he was back into his black clothes. Yeah, he would help Roxas no matter what, but stepping into pure darkness wasn't what he had in mind.

He flinched as Axel yelled at him to think about Roxas. Think? Sora tried to think, knowing that wouldn't do much, but losing himself to nothing but the spirit of his heart was difficult right now. Sora flopped down onto his bottom, just in case the trance caused him to lose balance. "I'm trying!" Sora yelled back, feeling hopelessness return as nothing came to him, but as he finished the small sentence, something clicked, and a loud bang interrupted his trance.

Sora's eyes opened slowly, feeling warmth against his bottom and sand squished underneath his large sneakers. He didn't even answer Axel as he continued to stare in awe. "... The islands?" Sora questioned. What were they doing here of all places? "Wait, this isn't my home." Sora murmured, almost darkly. The hot air was stuffy, not humid, and there was a difference between breathing in moisture from the air and then breathing in old, trapped air. Not to mention the sky almost had a plastic look to it, it looked real, just not real enough. It looked as if it was a memory of of what the Islands were, not the actual Destiny Islands. "... Now what?" Sora murmured, getting up to his feet.

Sora turned and looked out to the glistening water. "This isn't my home..." Sora repeated even blunter. "What's going on?" He took a step towards the blue liquid, but as he did, something eerily beautiful yet still horrifying occurred. The sand began to dissolve away into black ash, red light marking the boundaries as it moved. The soothing, calm ocean fell downward, and a black canyon took it's place. In that dark canyon, silhouettes of evil, jagged towers rose high where they were easily visible.

As Sora inhaled a sharp breath, nothing came, no air. "Uuuuu!" The sound of Sora gasping for a little bit of breath sounded, and Sora cast Axel a panicked look. He continued to gasp, and though there seemed to be a little oxygen, it was hardly enough. Sora clutched his chest, doing nothing but gasping for the little air there was, and he could no longer speak.

His eyes flickering in every direction, looking for any sign of Roxas and doing his best to gain enough air, he saw a shadow of a person. Sora quickly yanked Axel's arm to the direction, pointing to the shadow, the only sound that could escape his lips was a pained intake of breath. Though a few seconds later the shadow erupted in a burst of flames, and then no one was there, as if no one had ever been there. An illusion, just like that of Destiny Islands.

What kind of world were they in?
Was it even a world?

I really think we should role play this world in the Other Worlds? :3 It's awesome.
